**Blush**

So, uh embarrassed and tugging at the collar here...

I had no @$#!ing idea that Uncle Sam would be sending me a cheque for $2192.59 USD. I wasn't here on savingadvice.com in March/April 2006, when I was frantically adding up W-4s, deducting my university extension course tuition, and itemizing, bulking up the envelope with schedule after schedule... trying to whittle what we owed down to under 10% of what was due, or else we'd be slammed with a penalty. Three times I worked on our 1040, with the sigh of "okay, next time we get an accountant to do this."

And we have a check for $2192.59?!

Well, it totally looks like I'll be covered for the scooter payment due September 28.

Look at it as a blessing in disguise. It has all worked out for you and that is GOOD!

    Stress gone!

Oh it is a blessing. No doubt! I got to see my spouse dance! But it might also be a sign my mind is going... I used to love doing the taxes but it's gotten so hard and so convoluted now.

Ah, yes. Those mysterious blessings! You are so very lucky! Enjoy the moment!

It's totally funny how those blessings work! I gave some money to a charity and the next day my department store closes out my account and mails me a cheque for the remaining credit I had!

I sell some stuff at a yard sale and the next day, a present from Uncle Sam!

Decluttering and acknowledging gratitude for blessings makes room for more blessings!

Glad to hear the crisis is resolved. I was beginning to wonder. Smile

Cool, but am I missing something? The full scooter payment is $4000 and something, right?

Don't you love that 'give something away & more will arrive' rule of the universe? The older I get the more that seems to show up in my life but I'm sure it's just because I'm looking for it! It was probably always there, but I was young & stupid & thought I knew everything.....plus I didn't have as much to give away when I was younger so I hung on to what I did have longer.

Yes, baselle, what's missing from this post but mentioned in prior:

Balance of scooter payment is $4618.68
    Savings: $2090
    CDs: $2140

And the Dependent Care Reimbursement payment is $930
My share of the stock bonus is $1740

So it looks like I'm covered (nervously knocks on wood).
