"We increased your APR [for Check Cash Advances, Direct Deposits, Cash Equivalents, ATM Cash Advances, Bank Cash Advances, Overdraft Protection Cash Advances and Returned Payments] due to the balances and APRs on this account" to 24.99%
My APR? 12.99%
My prior APR [for Check Cash Advances, etc.] 21.99%
My balance: $0.00
So who's the bad guy here? Me for having a clean account?
More evidence BoA sucks

I was in my mother's basement drying clothes over there today. My dryer is currently blowing only cold air - not good.
There on the shelf was my MAD game from 5th grade - Alfred E. Neumann smiling at me just like your blog photo - Quid, Me Vexari - What, me worry? - Just thought I'd share that tidbit!

August 22 was Dorothy Parker's birthday, so I had a gimlet before posting. That's my excuse for my errors, which have since been rectified. I haven't touched that credit card in question since 2004, so it surprised me that the cash advance rate would rise as a result of my APRs and balance on the card. I agree with the commenters that it is BoA-speak for "we're desperate."
@momsense: aha! you discovered the source of my blog title!
